Little Lions Movement
“You can belong, before you believe.”
A weekly, station-based movement class that grows confident, joyful movers — building the fundamental skills every active kid needs, while forming Christian character that outlasts the season.
Why this program exists
Homeschool families do so much well, but a consistent, social, physical outlet for the youngest kids is hard to find. The active options are travel-team tryouts or nothing at all. This is the missing piece: a weekly hour where 5-to-8-year-olds run, play, and build real movement skills together — with character formed around one Fruit of the Spirit at a time.
How it works
- Once a week, all school year (September–April), Friday mornings
- Nine Fruit of the Spirit, each a three-week block
- Not sports-specific — we build the fundamentals underneath every sport: balance, running, jumping, throwing, catching
- Short, station-based sessions; every kid always has equipment; water every 10–12 minutes
- Enroll by semester or the full year; holiday breaks pre-blocked
The movement skill arc
- Stability — balance, body control, personal space.
- Locomotor — running, galloping, skipping, jumping, leaping, under control.
- Object control — rolling, tossing, catching, throwing, kicking, dribbling, striking.
- Put it together — linking skills and mastering start/stop body control.
What your child gets
- A weekly, station-based movement class
- A Fruit of the Spirit and memory verse each block
- A Fruit Passport keepsake
- Two celebration Field Days (a December Games Day and a spring Lions Field Day)
The nine fruits
