Fall Ball Prep

“You can belong, before you believe.”

A four-week, station-based on-ramp that turns nervous first-timers and rusty returners into confident, coachable ballplayers — while building character that outlasts the season.

Why this program exists

Too many seasons start cold — a single practice before live games, kids unsure of the rules, parents unsure how to help. This program fixes that with an intentional, backward-planned ramp to Opening Day — and it forms character while it forms ballplayers.

How it works

  • Two evenings a week through the month — Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:00–7:15 PM (evenings dodge peak heat and afternoon storms)
  • Youngest group released at 6:45
  • Then it peaks with a three-day Opening-Week mini-camp and a Saturday scrimmage and Family Day
  • Short, station-based sessions — constant touches, water every 10–12 minutes

The four-phase skill arc

  1. Foundations — grip and throw, the two-hand “alligator” catch, running through first base.
  2. Build — charge and field grounders, a level swing off the tee and soft-toss, base running.
  3. Connect — where’s the play, force outs, positions, batting order, scrimmage reps.
  4. Game-ready — full positions, situational innings, a dugout routine, and the scrimmage and Family Day.

What your player gets

  • Four weeks of station-based skill-building
  • A three-day Opening-Week mini-camp
  • A Skills Passport and a weekly Bible verse
  • A Saturday scrimmage and Family Day
